Dandy always had a smile on his face. A short, stocky boy with Corgi orange hair, Dandy was the first foster that was hard to let go. He had a habit of sneaking out the doggy door with anything he could put his paws on: toys, socks, a stray fork…He once even sneaked out with my spanx! Grabbed them and ran. My favorite part was when he would come up and demand snuggles, then, after about 15 minutes, he would give this satisfied huff and lay down in the most ridiculous position, and fall asleep.
Dandy was part of Rescue Road, an organization that takes dogs from high kill shelters in Arkansas and transports them North for new adoption opportunities. He’s now doing well with his new forever family.
